Brian Muse

CTO and co-founder of Robin, where we build software for flexible, hybrid workplaces: rooms, desks, people, and the workflows that tie them together.

I spend a lot of time solving crosswords and building grids of my own, although I have yet to be published. I also hack around with many side projects, including nocal.

I'm a dad of four. Most of my problems aren't technical.

nocal

Bootstrapped · 3,000 users · just me

Notes, tasks, Google Calendar, and an MCP server so tools like Cursor can work with your workspace, not just your chat history.
Swords
A crossword app, still in development.
Crossword construction
I'm building puzzles and grids; I may publish some of them here when they're ready.

One Mighty Roar

Design & development agency · pivoted into Robin

We grew to a team of 15 and worked with some of the world's biggest brands—Budweiser, Consumer Reports, Chipotle, and others. The business eventually pivoted into what became Robin.
Either
The original Would You Rather app—over 5,000,000 installs. We retired the project so we could work full time on Robin.
